Sorry for the delay in our blog, it has been an exciting second half of the season since the loss at Gustafs. After that game, we regrouped and had a great comeback game against Ostersunds where we won 2-1 at home. With the momentum from this game we went on to travel to Danmarks and have a solid 3-0 win. The next game was against Umea Sodra at home where we came away with another 3-0 victory! Last weekend, we traveled to Bollstanas where we made our 4th consecutive victory, of 2-0. We hope to continue this streak this weekend when we play Vasalunds at home. Kom Igen KIK!

In case anyone was not aware the 4th American has landed here in Borlange, her name is Jennifer Nobis aka jnodreambig19, and has been a big part of our scoring success with 5 goals in 3 games. Bra Yennifer! Our defense (including Bengan) has remained solid as usual, and the midfield and forwards have created a rhythmic flow up and down the pitch. If we beat Vasa this weekend, we will move into 2nd place and build confidence into the next couple games that are against top ranked teams in the table. Our team continues to train with fierce intensity and hard work to prepare physically and mentally for these upcoming matches!

Outside of fotball, us Americans have enrolled in Swedish lessons! Obviously we are not that fluent yet, since this blog is in English, but we are trying! Our teammates definitely have been helping us out :) It is really exciting to meet other internationals that hopefully will come to cheer us on at home games!!

Next weekend we will be having a traditional team crayfish party, that we are all looking forward to! Until next time....
